I'm not a huge fan of canned veggies, frankly, but my husband prefers canned green beans to fresh so I decided to try these. I was pleasantly surprised - not too salty, not mushy or mealy like some brands I've tried, similar to boiled beans cooked all the way soft. They were more palatable with a rinse and a splash of fresh lemon juice, I'm guessing they'd be pretty good with bacon and mushrooms and would make decent baby food. Very well priced for organic compared to our local discount grocer. Amazon delivered promptly, as usual, and the cans were well packed. If you have a preference for canned over fresh or would just like a decent substitute for fresh on hand, short of canning your own, I would recommend these.

The flavor of these beans is excellent, the texture is good for a canned bean. The case arived damaged, but the product was IMMEDIATELY reshipped without cost to me or hassel. Absolutely cannot beat Amazon's customer service.

I sometimes wonder if competitors arent setting up dummy accounts and giving rivals bad reviews. I have ordered these and they are a good product. In no way could the taste be classed as "horrible". Theyre a good green bean as far as canned go, plus theyre organically grown.
